1. Before wearing the new safety shoes for the first time, use protective spray to maintain the leather and strengthen or restore its water-repellent function. 2. Before spraying, remove the laces to ensure that all hidden parts and gaps (especially the hidden parts near the tongue) can be sprayed. 3. Especially dirty shoes, use a brush and a small amount of warm water to wash away mud and stains. It is recommended to use a special safety shoe cleaning lotion. After cleaning, please fully spray the protective spray (cleaning makes the pores on the leather open, and the protective spray closes the pores). 4. Please spray the protective spray when the safety shoes are just cleaned and still wet, and they need to be fully dried for 24 hours. At the same time, regular cleaning and care can prevent moisture and stains from staying on the leather. This is very important, because leather with moisture or stains will lose its breathability. 5. Apply leather care lotion (including shoe wax) on the shoe leather, and use a hair dryer to quickly heat the lotion to penetrate the pores of the leather, so that the leather will be soft. Please be sure to pay attention to the distance and time when using the hair dryer (at least 30cm and at most 3 seconds). 6. The skin care milk containing shoe wax will slightly darken the surface of cow bar skin and suede skin. Gently brushing with a high-quality brush can partially restore its appearance; while smooth skin and wax skin can more easily retain their original appearance. And it is easier to repel water and dirt. 7. Note: Do not use oily or greasy cleaning and maintenance emulsions. Although oils and fats can make leather soft, the shoes will lose their hardness and the pores of the leather will be blocked, losing the breathability of safety shoes.
