The Full Body Seat Belt

- Nov 05, 2019-

The full body seat belt, which covers the whole body, is equipped with multiple suspension points on the waist, chest and back. It can usually be disassembled into a bust belt and a chest belt. The biggest use of full body seatbelts is the ability to allow rescuers to operate "headfirst" without the need for a slip. In a deep well rescue, for example, rescuers are required to "head down" deep and close to the trapped person.
