The nominal tensile strength of steel wire rope

- Sep 12, 2019-

The nominal tensile strength of steel wire rope should be 1 570 ~ 1 770MPa. 1. The actual breaking strength of the cable buckle should be at least 70% of the minimum breaking tension of the corresponding wire rope. Note: if the wire rope is a metal core, the metal core shall be inserted at least three times, which can be regarded as the bearing part of the wire rope. 2. In a single sling, the minimum distance of the insertion part of the rope buckle at each end shall not be less than 10 times the nominal diameter of the rope.
